Jennifer is a musician, composer and educator with many years of experience. She has sung as a classical soprano with the Australian Opera, Sydney Symphony Orchestra and The Song Company.
She wrote and performed the popular Baby Proms™
concerts with the Auckland Philharmonia and Vector Wellington Orchestras, and has won two ‘Tui’ awards for her children’s albums at the NZ Music Awards.
Jennifer is passionate about providing opportunities for all to experience the sheer joy of music through accessible music making. She is featured as one of Palmerston North’s Creative Giants.
Jennifer is very active with enabling people to find their voices. She runs Women In Song Together, Shed 23 Chorus, voice workshops and also coaches individuals one-on-one.
She guides people with African Drumming which enables adults to experience the joy and exuberance of African drumming in a friendly environment. She is excited to guide people into the intoxicating world of drumming with individual & group drumming.
Jennifer is also proud to lead three exciting performing groups Manawataki, Nuvivi & Shed 23 Chorus.
Jennifer frequently guides corporate and school groups and school children with Team Drumming enabling them to colour their lives with music.
Jennifer has created many opportunities for music making through the power of the ukulele. She provides many opportunities for people to & enjoy ukulele.
Jennifer works from a centrally located creative space: Shed 23 in Palmerston North. This vibrant space is in demand as a venue & provides a wonderful backdrop for her innovative and engaging workshops, gatherings and teaching.
